The challenge
A calculation tool needs to make inputs, tax treatment and the final amount easy to follow without adding friction.
How I approached it
Keep the main task visible, group related inputs and make the result easy to scan and verify.
My contribution
- Task flow, information hierarchy, form layout, output clarity and interaction design.
Impact and learning
A more focused path from entering an amount to understanding the calculated result. Add verified metrics here when available. Utility products earn trust through clarity: show the assumptions, make errors recoverable and keep the result understandable.
